Ossai Ifeanyi Nwabuonwu (born Dec. 16 1992) is a Nigerian entrepreneur, diplomat, philanthropist , Ambassador of the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) and a member Bretton Woods Committee. He is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CribMD, a Telemedicine and Health technology company, and the founder of Indigeneex, a sustainable construction venture.
In 2023, Forbes recognized Ossai by naming him to its 30 Under 30 list for his impact in healthcare innovation.
Early life and education Ossai was raised in both Delta State and London. He studied Engineering, and later earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Avila University in the United States. He also obtained a Corporate Director Certificate in Business Administration and Management from Harvard University, and attended the Africa Management Institute’s Business Growth Program in collaboration with Stanford Seed at Stanford University.
Career and business Ossai Ifeanyi is an ambassador of the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) and World Peace Council.In 2020, Ossai pioneered an advanced technology and data-driven clinics in democratizing access to healthcare in Nigeria by co-founding Indigeneex and CribMD. In 2021, He secured approximately $2.5 million in seed funding from investors including Norrsken VC, Sputnik VC, the Guardian Media Group, and Google. In 2022, He was named as one of OkayAfrica’s 100 extraordinary African men; as well as one of inspirational, innovative men in the world and was listed by Nation newspaper among Notable entrepreneurs, philanthropists defining the image of Africa in 2023. In 2023, Ossai helped in combating epidemic of Counterfeit medications in Nigeria. He is an advocate for policies and leadership styles and also economic development initiatives that align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). and was appointed by Tesla as a senior executive within its supply chain leadership. In 2023, He met with World Bank President Ajay Banga towards advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and fostering innovative financial solutions for economic growth and to empower underdeveloped nations through strategic partnerships and inclusive finance. In October 2023, he was a speaker at the Building Bridges Summit in Geneva, Switzerland, and also at Spring Meetings along with Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to supports the broader goals of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development In 2024, Ossai’s was inducted as a member into the Bretton Woods Committee, a global advisory group that supports the work of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank. In 2024, Ossai helped to bridges the digital divide that limited Africa’s development trajectory through his involvement with the United Nations, During the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly. He is a member of the Supreme Council of African Royals. In November 2024, he attended the Council’s meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, where he advocated for strengthened cultural ties, youth empowerment, and peace-building across African nations.
