Old Kaduna Airport

Old Kaduna Airport serves the city of Kaduna, the capital of Kaduna State, Nigeria. Although originally used for public purposes, its commercial and public flight operations have been transferred to the Kaduna International Airport, which is located 17 kilometres (11 miles) northwest of the original site.

Military Use

Old Kaduna Airport appears to serve as the headquarters of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Training Command. This command is responsible for implementing NAF training policies, including both flying and ground training.

Training Units at the Base

  • 301 Flying Training School – Kaduna
  • 303 Flying Training School – Kano
  • 320 Technical Training Group – Kaduna
  • 325 Ground Training Group – Kaduna

These units provide training for both flying personnel and technical/support staff.
