Okere-Urhobo is one of the two Urhobo kingdoms located in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria. The other Urhobo kingdom in the area is Agbassa.
History
Okere-Urhobo represents one of the two primary Urhobo social groupings within the historical Warri township. The kingdom's first settlement was established near the Okere River, and it is geographically bounded by:
- The Itsekiri people,
- The Urhobo of Uvwie, and
- The Urhobo of Agbarha-Ame.
