Joshua Oyeniyi (born 19 July 1994) is a Nigerian administrator, entrepreneur and journalist from Lagos, Nigeria. He is the founder and convener of The Ambassadors Summit Africa, a youth leadership platform launched in 2014. In 2015, he was awarded the Global Student Entrepreneurs Award. He also serves as the chief executive officer of Amborion Media Global. During C-ICADI 2020, he advocated for democratization of education in Africa to reflect UNESCO’s commitment on education budgets. In July 2024, Joshua Oyeniyi received an honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration (Honoris Causa) from Prowess University, Delaware, United States.
Background He is a pastor in Deeper Christian Life Ministry in Nigeria. In 2019, he was invited to speak at the Deeper Life Young Professionals Conference. He is also known for hosting the Ambassadors Radio Show in Nigeria, as well as for winning the National Championships of the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) in Nigeria and was a global finalist in Washington, D.C. in 2015. Prior to this award, in October 2013, he started hosting the Ambassadors Radio Show on Unilag 103.1 FM, a weekly inspirational program featuring notable Nigerian personalities. He was also interviewed live on Voice of America Television and on World Howard University Radio during his trip to the United States. In December 2022, he was selected as one of 35 delegates to attend a high-level Sustainability Forum at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, D.C., United States. He later received an honorary doctorate from Prowess University, presented at a ceremony in Abuja, Nigeria. In September 2018, The Ambassadors Summt he launched in 2014 featured former vice president Yemi Osinbajo, former Lagos state governor Akinwunmi Ambode, and former Cross River state governor Donald Duke. In February 2025, he was part of the launch of an innovation hackathon in Nigeria.
