Heritage Polytechnic, located in Ikot Udota, Eket Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, is a privately owned polytechnic institution offering a variety of academic and professional courses.
Background
The institution was founded by Emmanuel J. Ekott, a Chemical Engineer, and began operations in 1996 as the Christian Continuing Education Centre.
It was renamed Christian Institute of Continuing Education in 1999, and later became known as Heritage College in 2000.
In 2010, it was officially licensed as a polytechnic by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
