Ewa Aganyin (also spelled Ewa Agoyin) is a popular Yoruba street food enjoyed across Nigeria, Benin, and Togo.

Ingredients
- Beans (black-eyed or brown)

Preparation
- Soak and cook beans until very soft.
- Mash the beans into a smooth paste.
- Fry chopped onions, bell peppers, ginger, and chilies in palm oil until fragrant and the oil turns red.
- Season the stew, then pour over the mashed beans.
Serving
- Traditionally served hot with slices of bread, making Ewa Aganyin and bread a classic street-food pairing.
