Overview
Edo State Polytechnic, Usen is a public institution of higher learning located in the Usen community, Ovia South West Local Government Area, Edo State, Nigeria. It was originally established as Edo State Institute of Technology and Management (ESITM), Usen in 2002 by then-Governor Chief (Dr.) Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion. The institution was renamed in May 2019 by Governor Godwin Obaseki, as part of a broader initiative to reposition and reform the school.

The polytechnic operates four schools offering a total of 21 academic programmes, all accredited by Nigeria’s National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

Milestones and Recognition
- In 2017, Edo State Polytechnic was ranked the second-best polytechnic and 54th best tertiary institution in Nigeria by Webometrics Ranking of World Universities.
- The institution held its first convocation ceremony in November 2018, after over 16 years of existence.
- The school hosts a Computer Center, as well as the Institute Digital Com Crystal Solution and iUni Crystal Global, both owned by Femi Praise Moyin.
