Akassa Lighthouse

Akassa Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse located in Akassa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. It was established in 1910 and remains one of the oldest navigational structures in the region.

Standing at approximately 60 metres tall, the lighthouse offers a wide panoramic view that stretches across the Atlantic Ocean, serving as a vital point for maritime navigation along Nigeria’s southern coastline.
